Many times, I have found myself
staring at the blank document in front of me, thinking of giving up, feeling
like I cannot do it. Not knowing how to structure an essay or how to start
writing one, feeling helpless by not knowing how to word a sentence or know what
a word means in Spanish or vise versa. I have been sad and angry. I blame
myself for not understanding what a run-on sentence is or any other grammar
rule, whatsoever.
I have decided to approach my problem by reading
books. There is nothing better that the knowledge a book itself contains.
English writing is beautiful, the descriptions the authors make is easy to
picture and follow. Through books, I learn how to write, how to capture the
essence of a story itself. I have learned how to phrase questions, ideas, and
create sentences. With every book that I read, I learn something new, and deepen
my knowledge. I believe that the key to a better education is a book.
