Why I Want To Be An Attorney Part I

The passion that drives me and inspires me to become a lawyer grows whenever the subject of civil rights and liberties is being taught. I can only smile and hope to be like one of those inspirational people who fought to make a stand for their culture and the struggle for equality. This dream seems hard to reach because my ambitions are not part of my cultural norms. Being too smart, or being too carefree, often seems too wrong and contradicts the way I should behave according to my Hispanic heritage.
